chinese new year is finally here (: not that i'm VERY VERY VERY happy, just a tiny little bitty pleased.
time trials at ITE simei tomorrow, ): i have to wake up at like 6.30 to go jiaolian's house. time trials time trials time trials. seems so scary and dark and meanacing. today's training started at 7 because Mr Mighty Rain! (: <3 rain! we did tonnes of uncle peng wee's random land training. like natw's stupid game of hitting people. uncle peng wee seems to love that game muchly and it has just became part of our training?! oh, and all the little kids are all corrupted in the brain e.g. daniel, YEEJIA, benedict, japher. URGH, they make me feel like puking, all the things that they do and say. NAG is like less than a month away! (scream!) i am not a money face _______. (just to keep lauren in suspense, you dont even know him! )
oh well, total defence day videos were awesome, so entertaining. they must have spent so much time, robin right? aiyah, robin is so united and coordinated compared to kingfishers. oh well, their mentor makes them work really really hard just for today's half and hour presentation, the message came across quite strongly and it was a blast too, loads of laughter, and i was the translator for arvelia and jennifer though not a very good one, my chinese isnt great which shows why i didnt know how to write "jian zhen bu yu" the ZHEN. so annoying, i told laoshi and then she said: "so easy to write, how could you get it wrong" how upsetting.
oh, i was quite pleased with my english diagnostic results until ahma said: "thats the average what" WTH. i normally get like 26/50. it's not because my english improved, it's just that we are so used to ms june tan marking so strictly. who actually gets 23/25 for the first part of the compre?! it just doesnt make any sense. i'm pretty frustrated though this is my highest mark ever for comprehension (yeah, i know, my english is really lousy) for my summary, ms ng wrote, quite frustratingly, "please work on your grammar and language" how intriguing, which part of grammar and language must i work on and improve? encouraging words, i must say.
chinese new year celebrations ended on a pretty high note, with that song. hahah, that arvelia and jennifer were trying to sing, with their limited knowledge of chinese, pretty amazing. (:
