I'M FINALLY BACK!

Back with an aching body and arms that could crash any moment. i have no idea where to start, i have so much i want to say.

This trip really broadened my perspective ALOT. I cannot emphasise it more. Where we went, was sort of like an athletes' village where athletes from different parts of the world merge and train like crazy. The reason behind training at kunming is because of the high altitude, see, if you can swim your best timing at a place with high altitude, when you come back to singapore, it would be a breeze to swim. But sometimes, you really can't breathe, it's like you just feel like crashing but you have to keep going and going non-stop.

It was full of FIRSTS. But to all things there always must be a first right?
FIRST. airplane ride all by myself back to singapore, it was one of the best plane rides i had, i had 3 seats all to myself. one seat for my hugeee bag, one seat for all my newspapers (:

FIRST. Trip away from my parents for more than 8 days. 10 whole days. Imagine that.

FIRST. Time seeing basketballers who are so freaking tall. Yes, jiaolian went to ask one of them how tall he was. 2.10m. everytime i stand with them in the lift, i feel like a dwarf, i should have taken pictures of them.

FIRST. Seeing groups of handicapped people train even harder than us, wanting to get the best and knowing that they have to work hard for it, i guess it spurred me on and encouraged me, knowing that God has given me so much and i shouldn't take it for granted. There were deaf/mute basketballers, wheelchaired fencers and some others. I really admire them for their courage.

many more which i can't list here, too personal (: yesyes.

So basically, we ran, swam, ate, slept, gymmed, swam, ate, homeworked, slept. Normally I hate china food but I was so drained after training that i gobbled my food down.

The boys were pretty good company. 10 days together would foster closer relationships definitely. Shopping, playing. AHWELL. Let's just say i got to know them better. HAHAHA.

I'm off to vietnam till 13june.
